What better way to plan for the all important Danish Christmas table than by diagramming it out. This planner has it all worked out except for one tragic flaw.
The 'little potatoes' mentioned at the bottom -- those cute little morsels of starch meant to be placed around the Christmas ham -- happened to have been sold out. I know because I worked in the store this particular season and all December long I was informing dejected Danes of this most unfortunate news.
After all this work, though, how could you be so careless to lose the list? [December 10, 2002]
